Question
My mouse Lesley has bald spots on her stomach area and some underneath her arms/front legs. Can I treat it at home cause my parent would never spend money on a mouse. What ever it is, is it Contagious because shes been with caramel my other mouse a lot recently. so far nothing has happened with either of them and caramel has not gotten bald spots yet. HELP PLEASE

Answer
Hi Stephany,
I am sorry to hear about your balding mouse.  I wish I had a crystal ball to tell you what is wrong, but without a blood test done by a Vet we can only guess.
It may be an allergy to something in her cage or to her food, or it may be some skin condition or a parasite/mite/worm that is causing it.  Sometimes hormonal changes can cause skin and hair problems.  I suggest you speak to your vet and see if they can help you out in any way.  Or perhaps speak to someone at a Petshop or a website that specializes in rodent care.  I just do no know anything much about mice unfortunately.
Take care,
Silva.
