QuestionHello,
I have been wanting to switch my bulldog to a grain free dry food. He is 3.5 years old and in excellent health. Unfortunately, his tear stains and wrinkles on his face smell pretty bad. I have been told to use probiotics once a day and clean his stains with witch hazel.
I have also heard you say something about salmon oil? What is that used for?
Please help me! I am so confused! lol
Answer
NuVet for bulldogs...
Grain free dog foods and NuVet Plus for bulldogs;
Hi Ousama, I would love to help you and your bulldog.
1. Pure salmon oil is great for skin and coat health.
Just 1 teaspoon per day added to a good grain - free food
2. Some Grain free dogs foods that my clients have had great results with are:
Innova Evo, Wellness Core, Merick Before Grain, or a favorite that has potato is the Natural Balance Duck and Potato.. Mix your food and the new food slowly over a 10 day period.
After 10 days go to 100% of the New food.
3. NuVet Dog vitamin/ Supplement is a great option for bulldogs.
1000s and 1000s of Bullies take 1 NuVET wafer each day -
THE 60 count bottle of NuVET is only 39.00 - this size is not sold on the Web site: Need to call in for the 60 count bottle of NuVET Plus ...
They do sell the 90 count bottle on the web site for 55.00

***Give 1 NuVET per day long term.- HELPS to reduce or get rid of tear and wrinkle stains... Helps to keep the body healthy and protects hip/joints.
SO many bulldogs get ACL and Joint injuries/ NuVET helps with prevention.
4. Probiotics - I love Probios, You can find it at the pet store or Hay/horse feed stores:
Follow the directions - this will help to reduce smell too.
NuVET will help to reduce smell and stains.
5. Witch Hazel and water ( mix) on a cotton pad to wipe tear stains.
