My ferret mite of ate rat poison?

Hello. Late monday night I let my ferret out to play around the house for a while. Some how she got into the restroom. So I fed her and put her up. Then about an hour later i noticed that she had gotten underneath the sink in the bathroom. We have a box of rat poison there and it was kind of open. I don't know if she did get into it or not. We have no phone or money right now. I tried to take her to the vet tuesday morning but nobody excepts payments. So I am stuck! She seems perfectly fine. earlier we just noticed her stool was kind of funny looking. There was kind of blood in it. I would like to know if there is any symptoms to look for. Like I said no vet will see her with out no money first. So im kind of freaking out!! I read that you won't know anything untill a few days later when they just die!!!!!!! I talked to a vet on the phone though and they said that she would of showed something the next day. I hope you could help me please. In september I will of had her for a year.

Elizabeth - Oh NO!!!  I am so sorry - If she ate just a little taste and spit it out, then you are OK.
Now, if she at a good teaspoon or  more, her belly would be very swollen  and balloon like.....
It will swell the belly within 24 hrs or less.


I wish you luck and watch that LITTLE devil - get rid of anything your Ferret can get into.
