Is it necessary to give my dog heartguard every month?

Depending on where you live and what the mosquito situation is, in the winter months you can generally go without heartworm protection. If you would like to avoid chemical poisons altogether there are very effective homeopathic heartworm nosodes available. We offer them at our store and get them from a holistic vet. We know that they work because several clients have eliminated EXISTING heartworms using the homeopathic treatment given to them by Dr Wessner which calls for the use of the nosodes and Paratox, another homeopathic. If you are unaware of homeopathy, it is a method of healing and prevention based on frequency.
