Dog ate chocolate

Question
My ten yr old Boston Terrier got into a box of chocolates this afternoon. He
didn't seem to be bothered at first, but I have noticed that he keeps hacking,
shaking, and is very restless. What can I do for him?

Answer
Lorena - you must take him to a vet immediately as chocolates and not only toxic but can be fatal for dogs.
This is the only recommendations I can make at this stage - urgent vet treatment.
Please keep in touch once the vet has seen him.
