Question
Hi Jaymie-
Our Betta, Fin, is quite happy in his 5 gallon, heated tank.  He's even made a bubble nest, quite spectacular.  We are waiting for the pet store to get the java fern in so he has a fake plant and well boiled sea glass and rocks in his tank.  He always comes over to greet us whenever we walk by, he seems content.  Our question is his appetite seems insatiable.  We feed him 3 Betta Bio-Gold pellets in the morning and 3-4 in the late afternoon but he always seems to want more.  He eats his pellets right away.  he gets blood worms once a week.  Is this normal?
Thank you for your time,
Dana&Orion

Answer
Dana and Orion,

Glad to hear Fin is doing better. Yes, just like most fish, they will eat every time you put food in. Just remember that his stomach is the size of his eye and over feeding would not be a good thing. Just continue to feed the way you are and he will be just fine.
