Question
Ok.. I have what looks to be a very pregnant Dalmation Mollie,  Two pregnant guppies, and what looks to be a pregnant silvertip tetra.. My questiion to you is how can i tell when my Mollie will have her babies? Also can i put both pregant guppies in the same breeding tank? And how can i tell if my sivertip is for sure pregnant? How Long will it take for all my to each have their babies?

Answer
Michelle,

The molly will most likely go to the bottom of the tank and in the back away from everyone else.  As for putting them in the same breeding tank, yes you can put both in the same tank but by the time they are done having babies they will not have to eat for a few days. Never put 2 pregnant fish in the same tank. The guppies will eat the young.  Tetra's do not get pregnant. They are egg layers. If there is no male then there will be no babies. As for how long will it be I cannot say without a picture. Good luck with the fry.
