Oscars and Convicts

hi ron

i really need a expect on cichlids. in one of my tanks ive got 2 oscars and 2 zebra convict cichlids is this a good combination as the convicts are harassing my albino tiger oscar. if not plz tell me and what species would be best kept with them. which fihs would be better to keep a oscar or convict cichlids?

Hi Rudi,
 It depends on the exact sizes of the fish involved.  If the oscar is relatively small and the convicts decide to breed, they are going to harass (and possibly even kill) the oscar.  However, once the oscar grows larger, he or she is going to eat the convicts.  All in all, they don't go well together in the long run.  

 Which you keep is up to you, they are both interesting species.
