Question
I have two beta, male and female. They lived in my 150L tank together with my goldfish for over 3 month, never used to fight.I treated my fish against ich. After it cleared out my goldfish got secondary infection and half of them died.I had to move all fish to a hospital tank for a treatment and disinfect the main aquarium. My beta were the only healthy fish so i put them in a different bowl 5L.They were fine first few days, flashing at each other some times, but on the 4th day my girl bit up the boy, ripped his fins into shreds.I took her out. will he recover? And can i keep them together again in my big tank?

Answer
Hi Markish,
Keep in mind that goldfish are coldwater fish and bettas are tropical fish so they really should never be together.  Bettas should be kept near 80oF while goldfish shouldn't be that warm.
