There is a lump on my fighting fish

23 11:04:40

Question
Hello,

My fighting fish is two years old, and currently is fine. He has no swimming problems and has no eating problems. Recently, however, I have seen a large bump form on my fish. The lump is close to the tail. The lump isn't swelling or having an effect, but I am worried that it may turn into a serious problem over time.

Answer
Hi Esther,
Fighting fish do not normally live very long (typically around a year or so).  As they get older, they start to develop the kinds of things you are seeing.  I do not know of anything that you can do about it.  Sorry.
