fish tank odor

I have a 30 Gal. & a 60 gal. and they are both smelling fishy. I don't remember them smelling before. I have pleco's in both and Oranda goldfish in both and in the large tank a koi. I feed them once a day. Pellets and for the smaller fish some flakes. There are no live plants (they dig them up and eat them) Thank you.   Cynthia

Hi Cynthia,
 How often are you doing water changes?   You should be changing 25% of the water once a week, every week to keep the tank and fish happy and healthy. A healthy tank should not really smell "fishy".
