Hello, my daugther has a beta fish(its her second)the first one die 3 weeks ago after 3 years, any way we put it in a smoll cup, to change its water, and he jumped out, we did not notice until one hour late, we belives it was died, and I went to comfort her, and then like 21/2 hours or so, I were about to put him away, and I realice it was alive, so I put it in its bowl again, today after 12 hours he seem to be o.k., but its to pale, and slow, does he is going to be o.k.? what can I do for it?, its tale is all mesy to.

That's great he survived! Just keep his water very warm and his tank very clean to help keep infection from setting in. Maybe change it daily until he heals up. He may lose little pieces of his fins and tail because those parts got too dry so don't worry if you see that happening. That's another reason to clean his bowl more often for awhile. Put his bowl in the warmest place in your house. He can't get better and may get infected if his water isn't staying warm enough. It needs to be 80 to 85 fahrenheit. You might have to put a lamp on him for more heat if it doesn't get that warm in your house.
