concerned cichlid lover

my cichlid fish was attacked, and it seems like his back tail is broken, he only uses his side fins to move around. he be laying on his side like he is dead. what can we do to keep him alive and healthy. thanks

Hi Bobby,
 That's a tough one.  He might recover but you would be best to isolate him either in some kind of isolation chamber (what is called a fish net breeder) or in a separate tank, until he recovers and gains some strength.
