Feeding my Betta fish

Just how much food do you give a Beta at one time?Do I feed him twice a day?Do they eat from top only or get what falls to the bottom?Should I buy bottled water for his large bowl?What do I add to water?What is conditioner?

Answer
You should the betta 1-2 times a day and 1-2 betta pellets per serving.  They usually only eat off the top of the water.  I suggest using food made especially for bettas.  I suggest using tap, unless your town has an abnormal level of ph or something(you would probably not unless youve heard something).  You do need to use conditioner.  It makes the water safe, and I suggest using a brand called stresscoat.
