Beta sitting

My beta, Red, has recently started to sit at the bottom of his tank. Could this be a result of over feeding, and if so what can I do about it?

Hi Leon,
 It could and the obvious solution is to feed him less.  Overfeeding is not good for a fish.
 
 Also be sure that you are doing regular weekly water changes to keep him healthy.
