Electric blue johanins?

umm...hey
ive got a pair of healthy electric blue, about 2-3 inches and one of them keeps moving my gravel to a corner and seems to be digging under this rock--im assuming its some mating thing. should i seperate them cuz i've got other big fish that im sure would love to eat their offspring?

Hi Maria,
 Yes one of your fish is starting to think about mating but at there current size, it will still be awhile before they breed.   I wouldn't try to prevent them from breeding -- that is a lost cause with cichlids -- let them breed and if the big fish eats many of the fry that is the way things work with cichlids.
