Missing Fin

Question

Herald
My Goldfish recently lost its right pectoral fin. He did not loose all of his fin but overall most of it.  This worries me because he now swims mostly with he left pectoral fin thus making him swim kind of sideways. I am curious to know if the fin will grow back. If not will this mess up his life expectancy? I am very worried and need help. If there is a way I can help him without taking him to some sort of fish vet I would love to know how to help him. I am not sure if you are an expert on goldfish but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, Shannon and Sir Herald Bubbles the 3rd(:

Answer
Shannon and Sir Herald Bubbles 3rd,

Yes, his fin will grow back. The fact that he didn't lose the whole thing makes regrowth possible. I would to a complete water change and make sure his water perimeters are perfect and add some Melafix to help regrowth and help keep infection at bay.
