flowerhorn disease(swollen stomach)

Question
I have a small king kamfa flowerhorn about 2 inches. Its stomach is getting swollen day by day. I change water for once a week. I feed Ocean free hummpy head, daily twice, around 3 pellets. How to cure it.

Answer
Hi Manoj,
It sounds like you might be overfeeding your fish. I feed my fish only once a day.  Keep in mind how small a fish's stomach is.  Only feed it what it can eat right away and do not put in food for it to "eat later".  A fish should always be a little hungry, never fat.
