Death strikes

Question
Hey,
Another death, and this time of the male dalmatian Molly. How am I supposed to get babies Mollies now? I was so excited. I found the male dead shortly after reading your last letter. I was going to clean the tank and then me brother pointed out that there were only 4 fish swimming around. Getting scared I searched the tank and found him near the front of the tank. I got a net and scooped him up to find that some of his body wasn't there. Now I'm worried about the female dalmatian Mollies and the guppy. I hope nothing else will happened. I also hope the guppy will start eating again.
Sincerely Manahil

Answer
Did you ever put marine salt into the water?  Is the water being kept 80 degrees?  These are two requirements to keep mollies in good health.  When salt is in their water, it mimicks their home better.  When the heat is 80 degrees, they get sick less.  With salt in water, it repels infection and bacteria and it kills parasites.

How sad to lose a fish.
