Please help my Cichlid

Question
I feel so bad, I had a fire in my house and My cichlid survived but is now in a 20 gallon tank. The amonia is up at 2.0 the new tank is not completly cycled and now hes turning white . his eyes and skin have a white paint look to it . What is happening ?

Hi Judy,
 Oh dear...  I'm sorry to hear about the fire.  Do a 25% water change on the water and then keep doing that once a week, every week.  Put in some Stress-coat.
