QuestionHi Ron,
My electric blue jack dempseys are grabbing the bloodworms and then spitting them back out again. For the past 2 weeks that is all they would eat, so I attempted to feed them other foods for a couple of days but they wouldn't take anything. So, I gave in and put bloodworms back in. Should I be concerned?
AnswerHi Kelly,
If they are spitting them out, then they aren't eating them. The spitting out thing is how fish "taste" new foods. The fish takes the food into its mouth, then spits it out. Hopefully, they will eventually keep some down.
