Bamboo plant and sucker fish

Question
We have a bamboo plant in a large vase with water and some big rocks.  We were wondering if we would be able to put a sucker fish in there and keep a happy environment.  If so how often would we need to change the water?  Is there any other information we need to know to keep things healthy and growing.  Any info you can give is appreciated, we know very little about fish.

Answer
Hi Theresa,
No fish should be kept in a vase and I would strongly recommend that you not put a sucker fish in a vase.  Fish should be kept in proper aquarium, with a heater, filter and airstone.  For any aquarium, you need to change 25% of the water once a week, every week, to keep the fish happy and healthy.
