How long should i leave the parents with the fry? Will they eat them at any stage? they are alone in a 30 gallon tank.

Hi Matt,
I typically leave the kids with the parents for about 3 weeks to a month or so. I like seeing the parental care. There is always a risk that the parents will eat the kids but the kids grow faster in the presence of the parents than on their own, so it is a tradeoff. Plus, watching the parental care is the best part of fish keeping as far as I am concerned.
