QuestionI have a male and a female beta. After being with each for a hour he began nudging her and flaring his fins at her. The tank is one gallon and there is a plant in there. She hides in plant whenever he gets close. I'm afraid she won't eat because she's scared of him or he'll kill her. Is this normal? What should I do?
AnswerHello,
Take the female out of his tank immediately. The Betta will kill the poor little female. Never, ever put in a female betta with a male betta. Your one gallon tank is already too small for one fish, let alone two. Take her out or you will see a masscare.
