Regarding the heater

Hi Fish Deeva,

I bought a new heater for my 38 gallon tank. The brand is Eheim Jager and it's 200 Watt. The store didn't have any 150 Watt, so the store guy told me it's okay to use 200 Watt in my tank and I asked him again to make sure. On the heater box it says 100 W for 26-40 and 200 W 79-106. So, do you think it should be okay to use 200 watt. Please let me know. Thank you.

I believe it should be okay.  I use 200 watts in my 40 and it runs smoothly.  I would set it to one degree lower than you want it to be.  

Still, I'd contact the company who made my former heater, and I'd tell them the temperature rise, and that I deserve a replacement or refund.  See if they help you out. :)
