goldfish/placo

Is it safe (or a good idea) to put a placo fish in with 1 goldfish in a 10 galloon tank?

Hi Nina;

Plecostamus need more room. Some varieties get over a foot long. They are also tropical fish so they need higher temperatures than the goldfish can tolerate. Goldfish like lower than 75f and plecos need higher and 75f.
