Puffy Cheeks Goldfish

Question
one of the puffy cheek goldfish cheek popped, will it die or will the cheek restore it self? the fish in less thn 2" long... It really got attacked yesterday by a regular gold fish that got introduced in the tank... I have been online looking for an answer and nothing has come up.

Hi Connie,
  Unfortunately I don't know.  If the hole is small it may repair itself, but there is also a good chance of infection.  I strongly suggest you isolate it to give it a chance to heal.
