what do comet fish eat and what kind of water can they live in?

i just got two fish yesterday from a water carnival at a rec center.i'm pretty sure they are comet fish because they resemble them a lot.i didn't think to ask what do they eat.what kind of water can they live in,room temp. bottled water?... tap water?please help.

It is the same like all gold fishes , they live in a fresh water environment , temp level should be low no problem about that from range of 20 to 25 should be ok , the ideal between 18 & 22 .

They eat all live worms , flacks , billits , all ish food with  hight consumption of protine ,

They live in pure water and you should have a powerful filtration system to keep it that way , they realy cause a lot of recycling and cleaning.
