i just bought a sturgeon and i put him in the tank and hes not doin so well he has a bent back and swims in cirlces ....looks like hes dying i have a peacock bass red snook jack dempsey ...they dont pic on him....i have a fluval 404 system...keeps the water really clean and moves it quick....i did add some salt to the tank to see if that would help....how long or how does his back get back to normal

That sounds pretty bad I'm afraid. Once they start acting like that they don't usually make it. It would be best not to get another one though. Fish stores should not sell them for home aquariums because they actually need lakes and large ponds as they grow, and they can grow very fast. It's very possible your fish store doesn't know enough about them to realize that. You might want to let them know.

Sturgeon are also a cool water species and will not do well in a tank over 74f. They actually prefer it in the 60's or lower. Here is more info about them;
