Questioni had a friend feed my 5 year old male red devil african chilid while on vacation and returned to him having a protrusion from his anus... the protrusion is white and he was fed frozen krill. when i asked my friend he said it has been there for a week but has been eating normally. "Mango" is behaving normally, although twitching his bottom fins and swimming against the stones on occassion, seemingly in attempts to dislodge. i am guessing i should not continue to feed but what do i do to help him pass this. please help! i love my Mango.
AnswerOk to fix this problem i would use epsom salt and a product for constipatipn which can be found at many petstores. Don't forget to do weekly water changes of 25% and change the filter inserts monthly. I would not give him alot of food, but a little just to help get by this problem.
