crazy fish

Question
I have had 2 rainbow tetras for about one year, and for about the last 4 days one
of them has been having some trouble swimming.  It looks like he is dead from
the mid section down to his tail.  His Front fins work, he swims about, and eats,
but it is like his tail has a mind of its own and floats upwards.  So he has been
fighting it these last few days, swimming nose down, tail up. I dont know what it
is or what to do...

Ok your fish has a swim-bladder infection i'm sorry to say you may be able to cure it though. I would got to your local petstore and ask for the strongest medicine they have for swim-bladder infections and he should be healthy and back to normal in not time. (:
