QuestionI have a pond, but my question is about a fish that is in the pond and must have been transported there when I put in live plants - water hyacinth. I dont know if it is from an egg or a live bearer, but i have found several of varying sizes, the smallest I am barely able to see with naked eye. I took one of them out which is semi see through but gray in color, apparently from a northern temperate climate, freshwater and has same body type as a sunfish or perch. Fins have no barbs. Thanks for your help with this.
AnswerHi Mike;
It could be a mosquito fish (Gambusia). Here is a profile page as well as a link to pics of them;
