Red Devil flicking fins.

Hi Ron, I have another question about my Red Devil.  Every now and then he will flick his top fin.  I am in need of reassuring that hopefully this is normal?  Hope it's not a dumb question.  We were given a Red Devil several months ago, and she wound up being sick. Long story short we tried our best to heal her, after getting so attached and caring for her, it was difficult when she did die. I think we are looking for things that maybe are not such a big deal.  The fear of losing another I suppose.

Hi Kim,
  A little fin flicking every now and then is quite normal for a cichlid like a red devil.  If she does it all the time, then you need to start looking for parasites.
