Dimidiochromis compressiceps

I have notice that one of them appears to be breathing rapidly and not eating - I have place it in at tank with some Electric Blues that are about 4 months old to see if this helps with Stress.. an ideas as to what's wrong with this fish - is it brooding?

Hi T,
 If by "brooding" you mean "mouthbrooding", you would notice that its lower jaw would be distended and likely would have a darker color in the middle (from the babies inside).  Is this the case?
