Fantail gold fish

I went to the pet store today and they told me that i needed to add salt to the water with my goldfish (fantail & moors...(for my 90 liter tank 4 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon, which i bought from them)my husband says they don't need salt, what is the right thing to do, i don't want to kill my fish?

Some people use a little sea salt.  I am not a fan of this, and I just get the bowl, treat it with conditioner, make sure the water is at room temperature, and let your new pet loooove his(or her)new home!

Remember to do partial water changes every week and don't overfeed!
