biggie I have had these fish four about 3 years. The biggest one has just started with red scales, right behind his gills. He is the biggest of the four African cichilds I have. They have bread twice, once in my 20 gal. tank. Then again in the 55 gal tank.

  The red scales are serious damage. It could be internal problems but it is also likely that another one of the fish in the tank attacked him. Is that possible?

  Also, that fish is very much overweight. You need to feed your fish a lot less.
