QuestionI have a 10 Gallon fresh water tank, that is currently occupied by an Albino Oscar (medium size) and a black/silver Convict (medium size), as well as a catfish/sucker fish that stays stuck to the glass of the tank. My first question would be, How many more fish can I add? I am looking into adding more and would like to know the different "types" that would live "well" with my current 3 fish. Thanks for the help
AnswerHi Jon;
Your oscar is not suitable for a 10 gallon. I would suggest a minimum size of 55 gallons. Oscars get a foot long and will eat your convict very soon. If you find a new home for the oscar, the convict will do fine all alone in the 10. If your sucker fish is a plecostamus, they get a foot long too. He needs a new home like the oscar. If the sucker is only a Chinese Algae Eater, he is fine with the convict.
