Plecostomus

What would cause a Plecostomus to bleed out of its skin and shed while dyeing?

The only thing I can think of is that the ammonia and nitrites in the tank are very high. Other then that you have stumped the expert. I have never had any of my plecos do this. All I can say is possibly post this question to another expert and see if they can answer it for you.
