Question
Dear Chris,

Many thanks for your detailed information, and help. I thought that breeding in my tank was like seeing sheep on the moon. Anyway I'll keep this in mind when settin up a new tank. When I first started the aquarium, I had put in plants and alot of friendly fish, like mollies, gappys etc. The common fish which everybody says they breed anywhere. My problem was that they started dying after a few days. Tested water, ph and nitrate. the water was crystal clear. So then I bought these 3 tinfoils which were just over 1 cm and they started growing (now they are 3 inches). Although they have ate all my plants, i have noticed that they have been the strongest to survive. Seeing this I bought another 3 tinfoil. Now their size varies from 3 inches to 5 inches. Should you wish I can send you photes of the tank. Can I send attachements on this website. My email address is antoine.azzopardi@alpinemalta.com

Thanks alot for your help and interest.

Best regards,

Antoine Azzopardi

Answer
Hi Antoine;

This part of the site doesn't allow attachments. I wish it did. You can post the pictures at the freshwater forum if you like. I would like to see them. It's always nice to see what other hobbyists tanks are like. You have to register in order to post, but it is free.
