Questionok so iv started a brackish water aquarium (37 US gallons) .... i have a fiddler crab with a small wood perch for it ... a blue dragon goby and a small plecko ...my question is to do with the salt in the water ... what can the salinity be to give all these fish a comfy home without killing any of them ... as of 10 min ago i tested the salinity to be 20,000 ppm ... witch i believe is parts per million
AnswerHi Ben,
Unfortunately I have never tried to keep brackish water fish. I can tell you that the plecostomus is a totally fresh water fish and will not likely appreciate the salt.
