pink convicts with ich

While I am treating my convicts for ich, should I remove the carbon filter from the filtration device? I am using salt to do so. THANKS!!

Hi James,
 You really need to use a proper ich cure (something with copper in it). Salt alone won't really do it.  And yes, you need to remove the carbon, otherwise the carbon will just remove the ich cure before it can do anything.
