something is wrong with bob the beta

my daughters beta fish bob has a bulging eye thats balooned out. he wont eat he floats at the top of the tank and hides at the bottom rarely swimming  whats wrong? please help

Bulging eye?

It sounds a lot like pop-eye!

Pop eye is a bacterial infection which is caused by poor water quality!

Do multiple water changes and use an broad spectrum antibiotic!

Follow the instructures on the bottle or container and keep the water clean =]
