identifying a fish

I purchased two bright pink fish, I was told they were cherry barbs dafter doing a little research I found thats not true.Can you help identify the fish.Again it is a small bright pink fish with three very thin white lines on it.

 Perhaps I can if you send me a digital picture.  Without a picture is it pretty much impossible: there are over 28,000 different species of fishes!  If you can, please send a picture to my email below.
