piranhas living with bass

Question
I own a bass it is about 10 inches and it is in a 35 gallon tank by itself. I'm wondering if i could put my bass in a 55 gallon tank with a piranha? will it kill or harm it?

Hi Jeff,
 I don't think that would be a good move.  First off, piranhas are tropical fish while bass are not.  Secondly if the bass is large enough, it will just kill the piranha. On the other hand, if the piranha is large enough it will do major damage to the fins and body of the bass.  Not good in either case, so please don't do it.
