QuestionIn a 10 gallon tank how much salt should I add and how often? Thanks
AnswerHi Linda
This depends on the fish you have. Some fish cannot tolerate salt, some need more, some less. Usually, one teaspoon to five gallons of diluted aquarium salt is what should be added, so 2 teaspoons to your ten gallon tank. When you make your 25% weekly water change, add 1/4 teaspoon diluted aquarium salt. Add salt according to the water removed, and always dilute it first.
