Beta Fish is sick

My beta is just laying at the bottom of the tank in the corner,he won't swim, looks like the top fins are mashed down and the little guy is just sick. When I peck on the tank, he moves a little but not much and this has been going on for 2 weeks.  What can I do to help him?

Hi Barbara,
You must act quickly or you will lose your Betta.  When fins are clamped, it is because he has parasites.  I would treat him with coppersafe, maracyn, and maracyn 2.  All three combined as I suspect he also has a bacterial infection.  Change all of his water before medicating.  Follow the instructions on the package.
I hope the little guy pulls through.
