Beta poop?

Question
I have a 1.5 year old beta and lately I have noticed that he doesn't poop.  He eats regularly and I wash his tank 1-2 times per week.  I don't think he has pooped in about 1.5 months.  Is there anything I should feed him so that he can?  Does this problem come with age?  Is he about ready to die :(?  I would appreciate any advice to help him out.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Karina;

If he's eatin', he's poopin'....somewhere. His waste might just be more soft and falling apart these days for whatever reason. He would have stopped eating and died by now if he was having a problem. One way to see how much waste he is expelling is by taking the gravel out of his tank and leaving the bottom bare. Anything he poops will be easily seen that way.
