QuestionI have quite a small pond in my back garden with about 20 - 30 fish in. They are only regular pond fish and some new babies too. The other day i went out to feed them and there were none there, over the next few days i have been checking for them and i have only seen one or two very low down. Please can you help? Thanks.
AnswerHi Katie,
Do you have raccoons in your area? Racoons are very good at finding backyard ponds and using them as "fishing holes". Wading birds, like great blue herons, and housecats have also been known to use backyard ponds as a cafeteria.
