HELLO, I WANTED TO KNOW IF I COULD FEED MY AFRICAN CICHLIDS MY PLANTS THAT I GROW IN THE HOUSE REGULAR GREEN HOUSE PLANTS. AND I ALSO WANTED TO KNOW WHAT PLANTS AFRICAN CICHLIDS WILL NOT EAT.  IF POSSIBLE COULD YOU TELL THE PRICE RANGE OF THOSE PLANTS.  THANKS IN ADVANCE .
Answer -
Hi Kwanda,
I'm not sure I understand your question.  African cichlids don't eat house plants.  They eat algae, but I wouldn't feed them house plants.  In fact, many house plants contain small or even large amounts of toxic chemicals.  You should feed your cichlids with cichlid food.

Answer
Hi Kwanda,
I am unclear what you mean by "I know that they eat plants".
In general, they don't eat plants. They eat the tiny algae which grows on rocks, not plants like the kind you might keep as house plants.
