Question
what treatment/treatments should I use to cure a heavy film with red lines in it on my black moors eyes. also his eye now seems to be falling off due to whatever the issue is the tank is clean all tests come back great its salted and i use conditioner bacteria supplement and declorifier. I'm worried about this getting spread around to the other 4 small fish i have with him and/or him dieing as it is my wifes fish. any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Answer
Dan, Your fish has popeye. You need to medicate immediatley. Go to your local petshop and get medication for popeye. Get Maricyn-TC or just straight tetracycline. This is usually caused by  bacterial infection or an injury caused by bumping into something with them large protuding eyes or sometimes maybe a nip on it from another fish. If you didn't get it in time still medicate. Since your water conditions are ok he should still have a happy life even with one eye. Good Luck, Tina
